Why I Started NorthDownDirect
Most local advertising goes straight from the doormat to the bin. A thin leaflet crammed with competing businesses is a missed chance to build community, and it does little for the businesses paying for it.
So I made the Community Card the opposite. It is thick, high quality and exclusive: one carefully chosen business per trade, which gives each advertiser far more attention than a crowded flyer ever could. The back has a local crossword and games for the kids, so the card stays on the kitchen table or the fridge instead of going in the bin.
Tap Review Cards came from seeing how many great local businesses, open for years, still have only a handful of Google reviews. Making a review one tap away helps good businesses get the credit, and the customers, they deserve.
